CADSTI-SE & Delta Air Lines Partnership
The 2015 edition of the Caribbean Science Foundation's Student Program for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE) was presented at a conference in Atlanta hosted by the Barbados Association of Atlanta, the Caribbean Science Foundation, Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., and Delta Air Lines in November, 2014. SPISE is an intensive Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, four-week residential summer program for gifted Caribbean high-school students and, held at the Cave Hill Campus of the UWI, Barbados. Participation in the SPISE is made possible through sponsorship funds (US $6000 plus airfare) donated by both corporate partners and individuals. In 2015, Delta, through a partnership with the Barbados Association of Atlanta Scholarship Committee, the Caribbean Diaspora for Science, Technology and Innovation-South East (CADSTI-SE) and the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, will help to provide a selected group of students the opportunity to participate in the prestigious SPISE.Read more from Delta's Newsroom here.
